Aida kitchen, dark lacquered tall units and a pale worktop

Contemporary

A measured contrast between deep lacquer and the warmth of timber.

Introduction

Structured lyricism

Aida is written for two voices: the dark verticality of the tall units and the pale horizontal of the worktop. From that tension comes a room you read in a single glance.

The collection organises the space in three registers — the service wall, the preparation surface, the table where people gather. Each takes a distinct surface treatment without ever breaking the chromatic unity.

Fronts receive a matt lacquer in seven coats, sanded between each pass. The result absorbs light rather than returning it, giving the material a density close to stone.

Aida welcomes generous ceiling heights: tall units rise to 2700 mm with no intermediate rail, a test of rigidity that only multi-ply panel construction makes possible.
