Philosophy

The house of Kiluxe

An exceptional kitchen is not judged on the day it is delivered. It is judged ten years later, when the drawer still runs in silence and the lacquer has not moved.

So we spend most of our attention on what stays hidden: the density of the panels, the quality of the runners, the number of lacquer coats, the stability of the timber after seasoning. The drawing comes afterwards — and it comes easily, because sound construction produces sound form.

Every composition is surveyed on site, drawn by our design office, then made in Le Marche, the Italian region where cabinetmaking is a craft handed down rather than an industry. We never install a kitchen we have not drawn ourselves.

The house design principle
Chapter 03Material

Materials

Carrara marble, oak seasoned for eighteen months, lacquer in nine coats, AISI 304 steel. The provenance of every material is documented and verifiable.

    Every block is unique. We select the slabs at the quarry and compose the veining at the scale of the room.

Chapter 04Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship

From the survey to the hinge adjustment three months after installation, every project follows the same protocol. There is no accelerated version.

  1. 01

    The survey

    We measure the room ourselves, with a laser distance meter, including out-of-plumb walls and level defects. No project starts from an unverified architect’s drawing.

  2. 02

    The drawing

    Elevations, plans and perspectives are produced by our design office. You approve a faithful rendering before the first component is machined.

  3. 03

    The material

    Marble blocks are chosen at the quarry, timber species selected slab by slab. You receive photographs of the materials held for your project.

  4. 04

    Machining

    Panels are cut and drilled on CNC machines, to a tolerance of two tenths of a millimetre. The machine guarantees repetition; the craftsman guarantees the rest.

  5. 05

    The finish

    Booth lacquering, timber brushing, stone polishing. Every surface passes through the hands of a specialist in that material, never a generalist.

  6. 06

    Installation

    Our fitters set every module with a laser. The site is handed over cleaned and adjusted, then revisited three months later to reset the hinges.

Editorial

In Italy the kitchen is not a technical room. It is the room the house gathers in.

Architecture comes before equipment. The light, the axes and the ceiling height are drawn first; the furniture then submits to that geometry. It is why an Italian kitchen does not age the way others do — it belongs to the building, not to a season.

Everyday luxury is measured in gestures here. A drawer that closes without a sound. Stone warm under the hand in the morning. A worktop long enough for three people to work without crossing. Nothing spectacular — only exactness, repeated every day for twenty years.

What is well built eventually becomes beautiful.

Heritage

A history that begins in the family workshops of Le Marche and continues today in Kénitra.

  1. 1970

    Le Marche, a land of cabinetmakers

    In the hinterland of Ancona, a whole region lives from timber. Its family workshops hand down movements that industry has not yet learned to reproduce.

  2. 1985

    From furniture to kitchens

    The workshop leaves living-room furniture behind to devote itself entirely to the kitchen. The first modular system is drawn: a grammar of widths and depths that still serves as the basis today.

  3. 1998

    Lacquer as a discipline

    A humidity-controlled lacquering booth is installed. Lacquering stops being a subcontracted finish and becomes a trade held in-house, with its own workshop and its own craftsmen.

  4. 2006

    Camerano, the factory-workshop

    The production site expands along the Via Direttissima del Conero. CNC machines and hand-assembly benches sit side by side: the precision of one in service of the refinement of the other.

  5. 2014

    Kiluxe opens in Kénitra

    AZZABI Hicham founds Kiluxe Cuisine and becomes the house’s Moroccan representative. The showroom in the Mimosa district presents the first Italian compositions in the kingdom.

  6. 2019

    The design office

    A design team is established in Kénitra. Every project is surveyed on site, modelled, then tested against the real constraints of the building before a single order is placed.

  7. 2024

    Fifty years of drawing

    Thirteen collections in the catalogue, hundreds of kitchens delivered in Morocco, and one conviction unchanged: a kitchen is judged ten years after installation, not on the day it is delivered.

Why Kiluxe

No abstract promises. Six commitments you can verify before, during and after the work.

  1. Italian manufacture

    All our compositions are produced in Le Marche, the historic region of Italian cabinetmaking. Nothing is assembled elsewhere.

  2. A bespoke study

    Every project is surveyed, drawn and approved before production. We do not sell kitchens from a catalogue: we draw yours.

  3. Selected materials

    Carrara marble, oak seasoned eighteen months, AISI 304 steel, porcelain stoneware from Sassuolo. The provenance of every material is documented.

  4. Installation in hand

    Our own teams install, with a laser level, and return after three months to reset the doors and drawers. Delivery is not the end of the project.

  5. One point of contact

    From the first appointment to the final revisit, one person follows your project. You never explain the same thing twice.

  6. The house guarantee

    Carcasses, runners and hinges are guaranteed. Spare parts remain available well beyond the guarantee period.
