Introduction

Classicism rewritten

Lesmo Cult takes the framed door — the signature of classic Italian furniture — and removes everything not required by its structure. What remains is a cast shadow, fine and regular.

The frame here measures sixty millimetres. Enough to create frank relief under raking light, little enough never to weigh the composition down.

The collection suits interiors with character: existing mouldings, old parquet, generous ceiling heights. It converses with the architecture instead of opposing it.

Patinated finishes are applied by hand, piece by piece. No two fronts are ever strictly identical, and it is that slight variance that signs the work.
