Marble

Carrara, Tuscany

Carrara marble has been quarried from the Apuan Alps since antiquity. Its density and the fineness of its grain make it the absolute reference for exceptional worktops.

We work mainly in Calacatta, Statuario and Marquina. On large pieces the veining is matched from one surface to the next — book-matching — so the drawing continues without a break from one element to another.

A honed or leathered finish can be applied to temper the shine and make the micro-scratches of daily use less legible.

Natural species

Solid timber

Managed forests of Central Europe

We use only species from certified forests, dried slowly in a low-temperature kiln so the timber is stable before it is machined.

Wire brushing cuts away the soft zones of the grain and leaves the hard figure standing proud. The hand then reads the structure of the tree — a detail lacquer always erases.

The oil-wax finish penetrates the fibre instead of covering it. It can be repaired locally, without sanding the whole surface, and takes on a patina over the years.

Lacquer

Lacquering workshop, Le Marche

The Kiluxe matt lacquer absorbs light rather than returning it. Its depth comes from the number of coats and the quality of the intermediate sanding, done by hand at 400 then 800 grit.

Gloss lacquer follows a different protocol: after curing, the panel is machine-polished in eight passes until it reaches an optical plane with no ripple visible under raking light.

All our lacquers are low in volatile organic compounds and cured in a ventilated booth, in line with current European standards.

Metal

Stainless steel

Italian steelworks

AISI 304 steel contains 18% chromium and 10% nickel. That composition gives it corrosion resistance suited to intensive food use.

One-piece folding removes every joint between worktop, upstand and bowl. There is no crevice where water can sit: hygiene comes from the form, not from the cleaning.

Scotch-Brite brushing runs in a single direction along the whole length, welds included. Light then travels across it without revealing the joins.

Grade
AISI 304 (X5CrNi18-10)
Thickness
1.5 mm
Finishes
Brushed, satin, mirror-polished
One-piece length
Up to 3000 mm
Large-format porcelain stoneware worktop

Technical ceramic

Porcelain stoneware

Sassuolo, Emilia-Romagna

Porcelain stoneware is pressed and then fired at 1200 °C. The result is a non-porous material, indifferent to acids, to grease and to the direct heat of a dish straight from the oven.

Slabs reach 3200 × 1600 millimetres, which allows a worktop and its splashback to be cut from one piece, with no joint.

The decors reproduce marbles, stones and concretes convincingly. For intensive use it is the most forgiving material in our catalogue.

Maximum format
3200 × 1600 mm
Thicknesses
6 / 12 / 20 mm
Resistance
Direct heat, acids, scratching
Porosity
Below 0.1%

Decorative metal

Brass and bronze

Lombardy foundries

Brass takes on a patina naturally through contact with air and the hand. We offer a lacquered version, stable over time, and a living version that shifts with use.

Handles, recess profiles, plinths and legs can all take this finish. Used sparingly, it is enough to warm an entirely mineral palette.

Bronze, darker, suits anthracite tones and dark timbers; champagne, paler, suits ivories and white marbles.

Finishes
Brushed, satin, polished, aged
Tones
Brass, bronze, champagne
Protection
Matt lacquer or living patina
Applications
Handles, profiles, plinths, legs
