Mediterranean softness

Nice looks for southern light. The tones are muted, slightly broken, and the materials keep the trace of their making on the surface.

The palette is built around three whites — chalk, linen, shell — set against a pale, low-contrast timber. The whole never tires the eye.

Engineered stone worktops offer a fine grain with no pronounced veining, leaving the textures of the fronts to take the lead.

Nice is the most versatile collection in the house: it suits a restored riad as readily as a contemporary apartment on the seafront.
